ZiiP’s Drivers

You wouldn't let just anybody pick up your children, right? Well, neither would we. All ZiiP drivers are employed by ZiiP – no outside contractors. We only employ drivers who demonstrate a sincere love for working with children. Period.

ZiiP drivers undergo the following steps as part of ZiiP’s comprehensive vetting and hiring process:

ZiiP drivers are state trained and certified ex-school bus drivers
Multipoint verification and certification--including license verification and driving record review
Comprehensive state and federal criminal background check powered by Trustline
Mandatory drug screening
Sex Offender Registry check
Full training on policies and procedures prior to first run
First aid certification

ZiiP’s Safety During the Trip

Our free app allows you to monitor your child's progress and verify safe arrival at school or other destinations. It also provides immediate text notification for missed rides. Vehicle progress is monitored in real-time. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe driving activities while operating a ZiiP vehicle. This includes use of personal mobile devices while driving

ZiiP's Vehicles

Our 14-seat, ZiiP-owned Ford Transit vans are verified by CHP.

Vehicles go through a rigorous, multipoint, mandatory inspection every 45 days or 3000 miles whichever comes first.

ZiiP’s Certifications

We are certified to transport children to school related activities. (SPAB certificate).

Everybody at ZiiP have gone through the rigourous SPAB training and certification. Including drivers, dispachers and owners.
